We try to save electricity, journeys and paper in our everyday office life and to support the people around us. Some of this we have done since the company was founded, other things have been added over time.

What we actually do:

Energy

  • We have daylight in all rooms
  • Our cloud strategy with usage-based consumption and home office options for all colleagues save electricity and commuting.
  • At our Hamburg location we use green electricity from LichtBlick.

Social commitment

  • Flexible part-time and flexitime models enable a work-life balance.
  • We are not only a training company and provide for the next generation in the industry, but also offer courses for further vocational training, which can be subsidized with education vouchers.
  • We offer our colleagues continuous training according to their individual needs, so that they continue to be fit for us and the job market.
  • We regularly support regional projects, such as the Children’s Cancer Aid, the Children’s Hospice Stuttgart and are involved with the Round Tablers.
  • We are a signatory to the Diversity Charter and stand for diversity in the world of work, among other things
    Diversity Charter signed

IT & ways of working

  • We enable mobile working.
  • Use of virtualization for better capacity utilization
  • Through video and telephone conferencing, we avoid unnecessary travel where possible, yet we love face-to-face contact with our clients.
  • For cloud-based IT we use Google Workspace and Google Cloud.
  • Our website runs on Raidboxes in a data center in Germany.

Flying electric

With a name like ClickPilots, we naturally keep a close eye on aviation. One milestone: in December 2019, a commercial aircraft flew on electric power alone for the first time, a converted seaplane operated by Harbour Air in Vancouver. More on this at t3n (in German): First all-electric commercial aircraft completes maiden flight.

It will take a while before large passenger aircraft fly electrically. We’ll keep watching.

Regionality

  • Drinking water systems at all locations save bottles and their transport.
  • Through local suppliers, e.g. of fruit baskets, we focus on regionality and short distances.
  • By sharing meeting rooms with other tenants we save space and energy costs
  • With our locations in Stuttgart, Hamburg and Berlin we are close to our clients and avoid long journeys.

Promote mobility

  • The central location of our locations (near Landungsbrücken/Hamburg, Feuersee/Stuttgart, in the middle of Kreuzberg/Berlin) makes them easy to reach by bike.
  • All our locations are optimally accessible by S/U-Bahn, bus (and not just one line)
  • We offer a job ticket and provide subsidies for public transport with the VVS, the HVV and the BVG
  • Frequent travellers receive a corresponding Bahncard
  • We provide each employee with an account from ShareNow (ex Car2GO)
  • We promote the mobility of our colleagues with Jobrad

Garbage

  • Paperless working is a top priority for us. From digital fax reception to digital signature to e-invoicing as well as the earliest possible digitalisation of documents so that they do not even have to be printed out.
  • On every floor we separate waste into packaging, glass, paper and residual waste.
